Multiskilled Journalist 

Phoenix, Arizona  

Arizonans face several issues that impact them and the nation as a whole.  In this role I helped call attention to resources that help Arizonans beat the deadly heat.  Other issues impacting the state include the traffic of fentanyl and how families have lost loved ones from the drug. In addition, residents of Arizona opened up to share their stories of triumph and kindness.

Reporter/Fill-In Anchor 

Little Rock, Arkansas 

Residents of the Natural State have voiced their concerns on a number of topics impacting their communities.

These issues have included lack of warranty of habitability laws in the state causing tenants to live in apartments with mold, roach infestations, lack of air conditioning and at times without running water. 

 Other stories covered have included legislation impacting public education, affirmative action and child labor laws.  

2022 - 2019

Multimedia Journalist/Fill-In Weekend Anchor 

Lubbock, Texas

At a time when the world faced the 'new norm' of COVID-19, the Great Plains community relied even more on news coverage. I was able to cover government mandates and medical advisory during the pandemic, as well as highlight new city developments and contributions from community members.

In this role I actively helped put together news shows for Dallas, Houston and Miami markets. I also narrated stories that aired in those markets.

Community Engagement
